Wednesday night at 7 pm to 8 PM the PMA is featuring its new fitness karate-jujitsu class which is aimed at new students along with current students desiring a more fitness based workout. It will be taught by a team of four young black belts who will guide the students through challenging fitness exercises incorporated into traditional martial arts. Students will be practicing a number of self defense drills, karate and jujitsu, partner drills, and even traditional karate kata forms. For new students this is a once per week eight week course module and will allow the student to decide later to become even more involved in the training programs. In today’s most busy world, people are often leery of getting involved into the challenging demands of a long course, so these modules provide a convenient way to get a strong understanding of basic martial arts are along with a lot of fitness, which certainly we can all use. Students are each brought along at their own pace. The cost for the module is very reasonable, and students are provided with a special pullover karate top and belt to fit right in.
